It’s true, we’ve been pretty quiet for the last two years. No events, no fresh visuals. But don’t think we’ve been sitting idle. We’ve been deep—researching, experimenting, and figuring out what Acid Salt needs to become. Honestly, we should’ve shared this journey with you as it happened—because that’s what we’re all about—but better late than never.
So, what have we been up to? We’ve explored different collective structures, debated fixed versus flexible concepts, and rethought everything from events to collaborations to visual identity. We’ve been reading, meeting, eating, drinking, dancing, and talking everywhere—from terraces to beach houses to ateliers. This was about more than just refining our vision—it was about redefining who we are.
We’re excited to finally introduce our current research team in more depth: Hedwich, Jan Johan, Angela, Annija and Thom. Together, we’re not just building Acid Salt; we’re reimagining what the art world can be. We’ve been having a lot of conversations, because understanding the system is the first step in shaking it up.
So yes, we’ve been off the radar—but we’ve been anything but quiet. The work we’ve put in is about to pay off, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next. Expect to see more from us, including individual introductions, a refreshed website, and a reintroduction of our visual identity. We’ll be actively engaging on social media, too, sharing what we’re up to and giving you a peek behind the scenes. We’re excited to share our journey with you!
